MOST of the TIME this is the ONLY Single Handle Fixture that will fit the OLDER BELVEDERE Bowls because of the Un-uniform Thickness of the Porcelain Finish on the bowl. This fixture has a long enough threaded neck area (approximately 9/16") that will allow the fixture body to go thru the bowl opening and allow the Chrome escutcheon ring to thread 1/4" onto the fixtures body to hold the fixture onto the bowl.

Note: This Style of Vacuum Breaker will leak water thru the top when the sealing cap gets old or the O-Ring is wore out. It will leak water thru the spray hose when the Hot & Cold Mixing Valve Fixture has a cartridge or gland assemby that is wore out or the Backflow Preventer (white part inside vaccum breaker) is wore out. This vacuum breaker will leak water out the top, if the Inlet and Outlet hoses are reversed (most common problem on new installation).
This is by far the MOST COMMON VACUUM BREAKER USED on Shampoo Bowls in the U.S.A.

* Fits Belvedere cast iron porcelain shampoo bowls #3100, 3800, 8400K and 8600 that ** came with this fixture
* Also fits the Belvedere acrylic/ABS Shampoo Bowls model #2100 Omega & model #2800 Beta
** The model # 532 fixture will replace the 522 fixture that came on your Belvedere bowl.
It will not replace the single handle fixture with a "Tear Drop" shape plastic handle nor will it fit the Belvedere bowls with 2 handle fixture (see below for their replacement).
** Will NOT fit older Belvedere Bowls that have a single handle fixture with a "Tear Drop" shape plastic handle nor will it fit the Belvedere bowls with 2 handle fixture, for a replacement fixture for them Please See the Belvedere #622 fixture or Salon Tuff #338 fixture
